Who Will Write Your Name

Ever since I was little, Easter has always been my favorite holiday. I'm sure it started out because I loved the Easter egg hunts with close friends, malted-milk ball candy in my basket, picking out a new Easter dress every year, and even those family Easter pictures taken in the flower beds. However, even though all of those things are wonderful and great, it simply cannot measure up against the real reason why I simply love Easter, my Savior Jesus Christ. There is no holiday where I feel so much sorrow and joy in a matter of days. As I was reminded at our churchs Easter service, we shouldn't remember the death and resurrection solely at this time, but we need to be reminded of his love and grace daily. In one of my favorite songs, it says: "How great the fathers love for us. How vast beyond all measure. That he should give his only son. To make a wretch his treasure." This song came across one of my Pandora stations one day while I was folding clothes and it shook me to tears, literally. How thankful I am for the precious blood of Jesus...

A video that our church showed us several months ago titled "Who Will Write Your Name" has been on my mind lately. I could explain it, but it's just better to watch, enjoy! http://vimeo.com/15539288
