Happy Easter!

Easter is by far one of my top 3 favorite holidays and Josh and I spent our first Easter together with lots of family, friends, and..international students?! Yes, and it was a blast! We headed out for Abilene after a long day at school and arrived just before 11. After some much needed R&R, I spent most of the weekend shopping with mom; and Josh spent most, I mean ALL, of the weekending consumed in golf (one word-Masters). Anyway, when Sunday actually arrived, I was super excited because I love, LOVE hearing Val sing "Arise My Love" at Highland...which happens only on Easter morning. If you go to Highland, then you obviously know how gifted Val is and how the words in that song speak right to your heart. After reuniting with friends at church, my family drove out to Clyde, TX (a small country town in the middle of nowhere) to be with some of our best family friends for the rest of the afternoon. Several HSU international students were there spending Easter with us and we had a blast!

Great-grandma's sugar cookies that mom & I made:

Anna, Me, & Bimpe

Us at the Gregory's (except Dad's taking the picture)

Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier, my parents surprised us with a little Easter 'gift'...two tickets to Six Flags! Josh and I are so excited, we've been wanting to go to Six Flags for a while and now we get to go...free :) Hope you're Easter was blessed!

I love it! We had a great time, too! SO glad y'all got a lot of R&R while you were here! I am anxious to hit golf balls again! Tonight when we walked, I found a pitching wedge and ball on #10. I guess someone just ran off and left it! Love you bunches! Mom
